Ed Fed is the name for the AAF Spokane Education Committee.
Our mission:
The Education Committee is formed for the purpose of promoting industry education among students and professionals in accordance with the AAF Spokane By Laws under Article VII, Section 1:
1) An EDUCATIONAL COMMITTEE shall be appointed to originate and carry out a continuing educational program among businesses and citizens of the community to accomplish the objectives of the Federation.
2) A STUDENT COMMITTEE shall be appointed to act as liaison between the high schools, two-year, and four-year colleges in the area. The committee shall promote interest in advertising among the high school and college students in the area.
The Education Committee specifically addresses AAF Long Range Strategic Goals in the area of Professional Development:
AAF members — individual and organizational members — will be prepared to be effective and successful in the 21st century.
AAF will be the leader/bridge between advertising education and the industry.
Objectives
The Education Committee will:

provide industry education and training opportunities to high school and college students as well as working professionals.

introduce potential new talent to our industry and it’s activities, values and standards.

promote professional development for industry professionals.

network and promote seamless transition from high school to college to industry.

expand AAF Spokane brand identity and awareness.
