A message from our President...past and present:
As the Board of Directors heads into our summer planning stage for the 2011-2012 year I'd like to take the time to thank you for the wonderful year we just put in the books. With your participation and support we raised $2,000 for Avista's Project Share at our annual golf tournament, gave $4,000 to local design students through our Toni M. Robideaux Scholarship program and put on one of the most talked about ADDYS shows to date! As we plan for next year we will continue to look for ways to bring added value to your membership and be a hub for our advertising community to connect to each other.
My term as president has come to a close and I would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to have worked along side the talent that makes up our board and membership. It's been an enriching and moving experience that I'm very thankful for. With that, I leave the presidency in the capable hands of Patrick O'Brien. I know he'll do an amazing job as steward of our club.
We look forward to seeing you in the fall.

First, and most importantly, I want to thank Mellie Price for her incredible talent and dedication to AAF Spokane as outgoing President. She's been with the club for roughly 6 years, and has done an amazing job of guiding us over the last 2 years. Her insight, guidance, and hard work will be very missed! (But don't think you're off the hook yet Mellie. I'll still be bugging you quit frequently with questions).
I'd also like to thank our outgoing board members, Greg Stiles and Kipp Ashford, for all the work they've done on behalf of AAF Spokane. Thank you both for your enthusiasm and support!
Throughout the coming year, you'll be seeing a lot more communication from me, and the club, in the form of a monthly e-newsletter. This will be a new way for us to communicate with you about important things like upcoming events, special services, membership benefits, and updates on what AAF Spokane is up to. These will be starting up in September and I hope you'll find value in them.
In the meantime, I want to thank you for your support as a member. This is your club, and we will continue to strive to bring you as much value as we can.
